Two formats

A5 spiral notebook — lies completely flat, easy to fold back on itself, lined throughout. Best for desks, meetings, lecture halls and anywhere you'll be writing quickly and often.

5×7″ hardback journal — a smaller, sturdier book with a rigid cover, available lined or plain. Best for bags and pockets, for journalling and sketching, and as the more giftable of the two.

Choose plain if there's any chance of drawing in it; lined for straightforward writing.

Questions people ask

What's the difference between the notebook and the journal?
The A5 spiral notebook is larger and lies flat, and is lined throughout. The 5×7″ hardback journal is smaller with a rigid cover, and comes lined or plain. Notebook for desk work, journal for carrying around.

Is the design on the front only?
The artwork is printed on the cover. The pages inside are clean lined or plain paper, so nothing competes with what you're writing.

Are these reproductions of famous paintings?
No. Every design is an original piece created in the spirit of a movement or period rather than a copy of an existing painting.

Is delivery free?
Delivery on notebooks and journals is free within the UK. Orders to other destinations are charged a delivery fee, calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

How long does delivery take?
Each item is made to order at our nearest production partner to your delivery address. Allow 2–3 business days for production before dispatch, and 2–4 business days for UK delivery after that.

Can I get the same design as a print?
Many of them, yes — most of these designs also exist as wall art in sizes from A4 upwards.
